Medicinal Superhero

After my recent blog post about the HSBC British & Irish Lions ad, I realize that by blogging about another JWT project means I’m opening myself up to the accusation of gushing sycophancy, but we at Gasp! are all enamored with this new superhero branding concept from JWT Brazil;

It’s a wonderfully simple idea to help children with a serious illness understand what’s happening and help them towards recovery.

It’s a wonderfully simple idea to help children with a serious illness understand what’s happening and help them towards recovery, whilst simultaneously making the treatment process a little less daunting. At the same time, producing the branded boxes in a way that is integrated with the comic books is a wonderful way to bring the stories to life for the children. It shows the power of a superhero brand (or indeed any brand) and the potential to utilize it in novel and sometimes altruistic ways.
